Fun Fact about this design:
This type of binding is called a Concertina Bind, named after the instrument. It is uncommon to see in mass produced books as it is difficult to mechanize. This binding choice, and the cover illustration, is a nod to one of Jackson’s poems which mentions bluebells and an accordion.
